Add Jay Gruden to the already long list of offensive coordinators the Philadelphia Eagles would like to interview. ESPN’s NFL Insider Adam Schefter is reporting that the Eagles will seek permission to interview Cincinnati’s offensive coordinator Jay Gruden on Monday:

Gruden has been the Bengals offensive coordinator for two years now, and has helped develop one of the league’s youngest offenses. His work with Andy Dalton and A.J. Green in particular has impressed many along with his dedication to his work and exceptional leadership ability. The Eagles cannot contact assistants who’s teams are playing this weekend so that’s why they’ll wait until Monday.
Gruden joins Bruce Arians and Mike McCoy among other offensive coaches who have drawn the Eagles’ interest.
The Eagles will also interview Syracuse HC Doug Marrone this weekend. Marrone turned around a horrific Syracuse football program and managed to go 8-5 and even win the Pinstripe Bowl this season.
