Jrue Holiday Extension: 76ers Sign Young PG to 4-Year, $41 Million Deal

On the evening of October 31, the Philadelphia Sixers signed young rising star PG Jrue Holiday to a 4 year 41 million dollar extension.

This occurred right before the midnight deadline for 2009 NBA Draft members. Holiday has a great deal of potential and without Bynum, he is the person who will have to carry the Sixers throughout the season. He can shoot well, takes good shots, and he can pass to his many different options such as Evan Turner, Nick Young, and Andrew Bynum. In 2011-2012, Holiday averaged 13.5 points, 3.3 rebounds, 4.5 assists, and 1.6 steals per game.

The Sixers made a great move in signing Jrue Holiday to a long-term contract. All they have to do is make sure he is surrounded by talented players and the Sixers will be a great team.
