Philly’s Best Sports Bars: Dave & Busters

Recently I went out on the town looking for Philadelphia’s best sports bar, and I may have just found the one: Dave & Busters Philly, located at 325 N. Columbus Boulevard on the waterfront.

Pretzel dogs, pasta, and burger.

What makes Dave & Busters so exceptional is its array of seating options. From the regular square bar, with eight large TVs, to its regular sports lounge/dining area, which is surrounded on all sides by sports games and coverage, every seat is truly the best seat in the house. Every major game from that night (or day) is on a TV that you can see easily, meaning there won’t be an important minute of action you have to miss.

Then there is the exceptional food. D&B’s wide menu offers all the classics and more, from appetizers to sandwiches to burgers to pasta to salads. Their appetizers are first-class and everything is reasonably priced.

The foods I tried, the nachos, pretzel dogs, and chicken club sandwich, were extraordinary. The pretzel dogs were especially good, and the habanero sauce that accompanied them brought the right amount of zesty flavor to make it the perfect appetizer. The mouthwatering, creamy shakes only made the experience better and the service from our waiter was first-class. Everything about the dining and sports-watching was truly excellent.

If you’re looking for a place to bring your girlfriend or wife out for the night, or even for a bar where you can relax with your friends and eat great food, Dave & Busters Philly is your best bet.
