Philadelphia Flyers Sign Forward Mike Knuble

The Philadelphia Flyers have signed forward Mike Knuble. The signing was originally reported by Broad Street Hockey and Later confirmed by Sam Carchidi.

Knuble spent 4 seasons with the Flyers from 2005 to 2009. He put up 221 points in his 310 games during his tenure with the Flyers, scoring 114 goals in the process. He is still a valuable forward to have despite being 40 years old. He will bring veteran leadership to a struggling Flyers team and will be a solid replacement for Scott Hartnell while he is injured.

The terms of the deal have not been released and the signing is expected to be officially announced tomorrow afternoon. This is an overall great signing by the Flyers and can help them after losing a key player in Hartnell.
