Flyers 3 Stars: Rinaldo, Gagne, and Talbot Shine in Win Against Sabres

The Flyers won their first game after losing the last 3. The defense played well, the offense put three pucks past Ryan Miller, and Bryzgalov gave a solid performance. The win isn’t anything to get all too excited about, but it is a start for this team to turn it around.

3rd Star: Zac Rinaldo

Rinaldo may not have contributed offensively, but he had a great game. He took penalties also, but they were weak, surprising calls. Rinaldo blocked three shots and added five hits in just 7:42 of ice time.

2nd Star: Simon Gagne

Gagne scored his second goal since returning to the Flyers tonight. He blocked  three shots and created many offensive opportunities for the Flyers using his speed.

1st Star: Max Talbot

Talbot had an all around solid game tonight. He scored his first goal of the season and to make it better, he scored it shorthanded. He contributed three hits, had 13:07 of ice time, and was a +1 on the night. He was great defensively and in shorthanded situations as usual.
