Philadelphia Eagles Sign WR Ifeanyi Momah

You wanted size in the WR corps? You got it. Just a couple weeks after trading for the 6’2″ Arrelious Benn, the Eagles have gotten yet another giant, this time 6’7″, 239-pound WR Ifeanyi Momah.

Momah suffered a knee injury in his senior season in Boston College that prevented him from being drafted and caused him to miss all of 2012. He had 39 career receptions for 629 yards in his collegiate career, playing both WR, TE, and DE.

Here in Philadelphia on a three-year deal, Momah will likely challenge Riley Cooper for the team’s red zone receiver spot. If he does win, he could finally be the tall, big receiver who provides Michael Vick with a legitimate red zone threat game after game.
