Flyers 3 Stars: Mason, Schenn Solid as Flyers Fall to Sabres

As the Flyers’ season dwindles away, let’s take a look at the players who are trying to make the most of this forgettable season:

3rd Star: Brayden Schenn

In this virtually meaningless game, the younger Schenn had 4 hits and a shot on goal. Additionally, Brayden won 55.6% of his face-offs.

2nd Star: Luke Schenn

In addition to Brayden, Luke Schenn was a rare bright spot against Buffalo. He recorded 4 hits, 2 shots and 2 blocked shots in the loss.

1st Star: Steve Mason

Despite giving up the game’s only goal, Mason was very strong in goal today. The game-winner was a fluke, and the Flyers will continue to test Mason as they look to make a decision on next year’s starting goalie.
