Breaking News: Doug Collins will Resign After This Season

According to several sources including Yahoo Sports, Doug Collins has informed the Sixers organization that he will not be returning for a 4th season. During his time with the Sixers he has had a record of 109-119 with 2 games remaining in his final season. Many questioned if Collins was a good fit for the team. Their future was not looking bright, but then again they did not have their star  player. One can only wonder what the team might’ve been like with Bynum.

What’s next?

The next step for the Sixers is to find a coach that has proven himself, and will stay for more than 3 years. Let Bynum go, and find another star in free agency.  Also, the draft may prove to be very important. There are not any standout players or automatic 1st overall picks like Anthony Davis last year, so it is important that they make the right move.
