Eagles Cut Offensive Tackle Ed Wang

The Philadelphia Eagles have cut offensive tackle Ed Wang, their first roster deletion of the 2013 preseason. Wang had missed almost all of training camp and the preseason with a knee injury. He was unlikely to make the roster, regardless.

This is all according to Wang himself, who said on Twitter:

And then, when asked if he was cut, he replied “yea bud.” The news was then confirmed by Sideline View’s Adam Caplan.

For more on Wang, check out my story on him (with an interview included) from earlier this summer.
