Philadelphia Eagles Week 1 Injury Report

Last year was definitely an injury plagued year for the Philadelphia Eagles, but this year they look to turn things around. To kick off the season they play against their division rival, the Washington Redskins. Many Eagles’ fans are hoping this can be similar to the last Monday Night game against Washington where Michael Vick had a career game. Now let’s take a look at some injuries that could hold the Eagles back:

Jeremy Maclin, WR: Torn ACL, Out for Season

As many know, Jeremy Maclin will be unable to play this year, due to his torn ACL during the offseason. He will be replaced on the depth chart by Riley Cooper.

Brandon Hughes, CB: Hand, Out

Brandon Hughes has been ruled out against Washington. This is not a major blow at all, as he would be bottom of the depth chart either way.

Dennis Kelly, RT: Back, Out

Dennis Kelly, the backup to 4th overall pick Lane Johnson, has been ruled out for Monday night’s game.
