Nick Foles, Snow Bowl Featured on Sports Illustrated Cover

It’s about time. With his two QB counterparts on the roster, Michael Vick and Matt Barkley, having already received the accolade of being SI cover boy, Nick Foles might have been feeling a bit left out.

Not anymore, as he will be featured on this week’s upcoming cover.

After leading his team on an impressive comeback against the Detroit Lions—they scored 34 points in the last 16 minutes of the game to overcome a 14-0 deficit—Foles is finally receiving the national recognition he deserves. Having played a majority of eight games, Foles has completed 62% of his passes for 1970 yards, 20 touchdowns, and one interception. He’s led his team back from the virtual dead, as the Eagles have gone 7-1 with him at QB to leapfrog the Cowboys into the NFC East lead.
