Eagles-Cowboys Week 17 Showdown Flexed to SNF

Looks like Tony Romo and Nick Foles will battle for the NFC East on primetime next week. NBC just confirmed Adam Schefter’s report that next week’s game between Philadelphia and Dallas will be flexed to Sunday Night Football, the Eagles’ 2nd straight Sunday night matchup.

The Eagles, currently on their way to 9-6, could have clinched today if the Redskins had knocked off Dallas, but alas their fate will rest on their Week 17 matchup. Tony Romo, however, is 1-5 in his career in Week 17, which bodes well for the Eagles.
