Eagles Wideout DeSean Jackson Headed to 2014 Pro Bowl

The Eagles offense has another Pro Bowler. After Jason Peters and LeSean McCoy were originally voted in, 1st alternate QB Nick Foles and 2nd alternate OG Evan Mathis were asked to join the Pro Bowl team in Hawaii.

Now, the Eagles have a 5th Pro Bowler, in wideout DeSean Jackson. Jackson had a career year, posting new personal bests with 82 receptions and 1339 yards and tying his personal record with 9 touchdowns. He was key in the resurgence of the Birds offense, demanding double-teams, opening up the secondary, and making big plays.

This will be Jackson’s 3rd trip to the Pro Bowl, with his first two coming in 2009 and 2010.
