Report: Sixers Will Not Move Up to No. 1, Joel Embiid the Frontrunner

With just over an hour left until the 2014 NBA Draft, the Philadeplhia 76ers have reportedly left the running to move up to the No. 1 pick, according to Adrian Wojnarowski of Yahoo! Sports.

This comes after reports that the Sixers were pushing hard to move up there for former Kansas guard Andrew Wiggins (by Bob Cooney) and that the Cavs wanted 3, 10, and 32 (per Tom Moore of Calkins Media). It appears that that was simply too much for Sam Hinkie to bite on.

Now, for the time being, it seems the Sixers will stay at 3, and likely choose between Dante Exum, Joel Embiid, and Noah Vonleh. Wojnarowski reported that Embiid is a frontrunner in that race.
